Where can I purchase a Bark River Knife? -You can purchase one (or more) of our products from one of our Dealers, listed on our dealer page. Where can I buy a honing block or kit to sharpen my knife? -Both DLT Trading and Knivesshipfree sell honing kits. DLT  KSF KSF also has some wonderful sharpening videos that show you how to maintain a Convex Edge. I'm looking for a specific knife, but I can't seem to find it at any of your dealers. What should I do? -If you can't find what you are looking for at out dealers, you can always check our Production Schedule. ( Here) If it isn't there you can always head to www.knifeforums.com and ask on their Wanted Section. What is Knifeforums? - www.Knifeforums.com is a forum where knife enthusiasts can meet to discuss the industry, politics, and personal experiences, in an intelligent and non-combative way. Can I buy a knife directly from you? -We do not sell direct. You can purchase our products through our Dealers. Can I Purchase one of your Blanks without a Handle? -For safety reasons we attach the handles to our knives before we finish our edges. None of our knives go out unfinished and they all have handles on them. I want to become a Dealer for Bark River Knives, how do I do that? -Contact one of our Main Distributors, they can set you up as a Dealer. Our Distributors are: DLT Trading (in MI) Bohn Distribution (in OR) Blue Ridge Knives (in VA) D-PO Company (in Russia) Kizlyar-Messer (in Germany) Do you have a showroom? -Since all of the knives we produce are shipped out the same day, we Do Not have a showroom. The closest store that carries our knives, is Northstar Trading Post here between Gladstone, MI and Escanaba, MI. The next closest is in Menominee, MI. What types of Steel do you use? -Bark River Knives use a wide variety of carbon steels including: A-2, CPM3V, CPM-M4, 154CM, CPM154, and CPM S35VN. We also use Sandvick Stainless Steel: 12C27, 13C26, and 19C27. What is your Warranty? -All Bark River Knives and axes are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for LIFE. If you have any problems with our product, just return it to us and we will repair or replace it. If you would like us to refurbish or re-sharpen the product, please enclose shipping and handling fees: $15 Lower 48 States $30 Alaska & Hawaii $40 All other Countries Multiple Knives May add Chagres. Is the Sheath under Warranty? -Yes it is. The Sheath has the same warranty as our knives. If your sheath is defective, send it back and we will replace it. Can I buy an Extra Sheath? -Check out one of our dealers sites. They have extra sheaths in stock for sale. Do you give Military Discounts? -We don't give Military Discounts, we don't sell direct to our customers. Though if you call us we can tell you which of our Dealers and Distributors give Military Discounts. How does Pre-Ordering work? What is Pre-Ordering? -Pre-Ordering allows you to order one of our knives before the run is even started. You can customize the knife to how you want; the handle material, with liners, without liners. You can contact any of our Dealers and Pre-order a knife through them. This means you can get a Bravo-1 with Turquoise Canvas and White liners, or any other combination you can think of. Check our Production Schedule often to see which knives are coming up to be sure you get your Pre-Order in before we make the next run!
