Overall Length: 6.250 in The Bravo-Necker I was first Introduced in 2009. We have made and sold about a thousand of them in the original 12C27 Sandvik Steel. For 2011 Derrick and Wendy of Knives Ship Free asked us to switch to the much tougher - stronger and more abrasion resistant Crucible CPM 3V Tool Steel. The knives are identical except for the switch to the CPM Steel so each of them is Electro-Etched with the CPM 3V incorporated into the Bark river Logo. In addition to the Design - Bark River is all about Choices. We wanted the choices to be more than just the choice of handles. We came up with the Electro-Static Powder Coating as a way of adding choices. Coatings slow down the Cutting Power of a blade by up to 50% of it's potential. The Solution was to not compromise the cutting Power of the necker by grinding the blade as normal and removing the Powder Coating on the blade portion as we convex the blade. The New CPM3V Bravo-Necker I has roughly the same Specifications of the earlier 12C27 version. If you liked that one - you should love this new version. Click Here for 12C27. There is a new Sharpshooter Kydex
Sheath for 2011 - it is more compact and holds the knife more securely
than the earlier Kydex sheath.
The Earlier Kydex sheath allowed you to carry a slim Fire steel and this
one does too. |
