The Bay de Noc Is designed in the style of the camp carvers of the late 1800s and the early 1900s. These knives were an essential part of these early hunting camps and were used for everything from food preparation to cutting kindling.
The blade in the Bay de Noc is long and tapered to a fine point. The overall weight of under 11 ounces makes it very fast in the hand and capable of almost effortless slicing.
Knives in this style were usually not "belt carried" but kept in camp for their chores. We do supply each knife with the new Sharpshooter Sheath Systems Bay de Noc sheath.
The Bay de Noc has very comfortable and ergonomic handle slabs. At right is a view that will give you an idea of how they look.
