The Drop Point Hunter is a very close version of the classic guardless Drop Hunter that was made world famous by custom knifemaker Bob Loveless.
This early guardless version is unique and an original — made by Bob — would be a much sought after knife by Loveless collectors.
Our Bark River version is one that you can collect but it is actually made for use in your hunting chores.
A compact knife that is still manageable in the hand. Above, The Drop Point Hunter is held in the hand, with a slicing grip and for gutting. No matter how you hold this knife it is secure in your hand and has maximum blade/edge feel.
This is not an easy knife to properly re-produce. The handle slabs are among the most secure and comfortable ever designed and are the most challenging we have ever made.
 The Bark River Drop Point Hunter comes with the Sharpshooter Sheath Systems — Sur-Lok — Sheath.
This new sheath retains the knife with it's internal locking system. You will find that it also is part of our modular system that will allow you to attach any of our other knives to this sheath in piggyback carry.

All of the Bark River Drop Point Hunters will be made with Loveless Bolt Sets. These sets will all have brass collars and stainless steel screw centers. |
