The Glen Eagle is our design of an ideal hunters ax for game chores and light camp use. It is very compact and easy to pack. The design is a combination of very classical features of both the French tomahawk and the Norse bearded style.
This ax is small but heavy. At .300" thickness it will deliver a very deep cut into wood and chops well for it's size. You will find that it throws good size chips in use.
We kept the handle and shaft thin in side profile to save weight and to make it comfortable in use with or without gloves.

The shaft is grooved so You can choke up on it for use like a Ulu. Using it in this mode will allow finer cuts that one would not expect from an ax.
For shipping and storage, each ax is supplied with a Kydex Sleeve to protect it when not in the sheath.

As You can see the sheath can be belt carried and there are are three eyelets for lashing it to your gear.
