The Bark River Upland Special is a perfect Upswept Knife. It is reminiscent of the popular Hunting knives of the 1950's and 1960's. The Fine point allows very precise work and the Deep Belly will slice and skin with minimal effort. The Cutting Curve excatly matches the normal movement of the Human Arm and Causes no Stress to the Wrist, Forearm or Hand in sustained use. The Upland Special is also very adept for Woods Tasks and will push cut wood as easily as it skins game. You will also find this knife to be great for Kitchen Duty and it will fly through meal preperation tasks like a larger knife. If you like upswept blades the Upland Special is on to give serious consideration.
